The employees of Messrs. Browne Bros.' :md ijeddes. Limited, held their annual p.'-nii- at Rockland's ißeaoh on Saturday hist. It was well attended, and the ex••ellent management of affairs reflects much ••redit upon the '-ornmittee. A sports pro--rnmme wasteld, Mr. C. Browne presenting prizes. The prize winners were: Misses A Cook, D. Smith. V. White, D. Chapman, V. Brown. Mesdames Buckley and Major. Messrs. F. Arthur (two races!. <i. Barker, E. Sennelly, A. Wattam. J. CampMi. O. Bell, T. .Caseby. and R. Grace.
The staff of 'George Court and Sons, Ltd. held their annual picnic at Swanson last Saturday. The weather was perfect, and altogether the picnic was very successful.
