ERADICATION OF TICK. illy Telegraph.—Presß Association.! WELLINGTON. Tuesday. The following resolutions were passed by tlie Dominion Executive of the Farmers' Union to-day: — "This executive views with alarm the widespread urea affected by cattle tick, and after hearing the chief veterinarian's explanation of the regulations dealing with the matter and that test cases are being taken in court. Tvish to assure the department of their hearty support in its determination to eradicate the pest." "That a produce commissioner be appointed to represent New Zealand in ihe world's markets, his headquarters to bo in London" "'That this meeting emphatically protests against price control in England on New Zealand free meat unless all other meat is similarly controlled, and that the matter b_e brought before the Government."'
