VALISES EASIER. Alfred Buckland and Sons report that to-day at th e : r weekly WestlSeld fat stock market they again had a hearv yarding of beef, a total of 505 coming forward, comprising 308 steers, 1901 cows ami hei-fers, and seven bulls. There was a steady demand throughout. Odd pens of beef sold at last week's rates.; out generally values were eas'er. Show beef was unchanged. Extra choice ox sold up to £2 11/; .choice and prime, £2 ijn to £.2 10/: ordinary and plain, £2 ■>/ to £2 7/;-rough 'beef, £1 3/ to JCI! 10/; cow and heifer beef, £1 14/ to £i\ 8/ per 100'ib. Heavy prime steers ranged in price from £-20 to £-21 126; lighter prime steers, £16 to £19 10/; I ight prime. £13 to £15 10/; unfinished and small. £8 to £12 a/. Heavy prime!
