The National Wool Textile Industrial Council of Bradford has decided that women's wages shall be. redueefi by half si-crown and men's by three and vxpence per week under the sliding scale due to descending cost of living. Twelve thousand fishermen will be involved in a strike which is to start on Monday, and will affect the principal fishing ports cf England and Scotland. The trouble is the culmination of a three months' dispute at Grimsby between trawler ownere and men over the owners' proposal to reduce waijee by 40 per cent. (A. and S.Z. Cable.) WASTE OF STRIKES.
