CASE AGAINST THORN
TO BE CONCLUDED TO-MORROW
The trial (if Samuel John Thorn, charged Willi the murder of Sidney Seymour Eyre at 1 ukekawn on Aupuet 24, was continued before Mr. J. \V. Toynton S.M., yuaterdaj afterjioon. Evidence of the relations of intimacy between Thorn und Mrs. Eyre was givdn by J oil II (iiles Eyre, aged 12 years, his Statements supporting those' in Mhis direction by Mrs. Kyre and Hiillip Eyre. In cross-examination by Mr. Singer," he enntrn dieted his brother's statement tlmt when sent mil for help on the night of the minder they were not told by their mother to K o out the front door. They were told, the witness said, to go out, the front door and not to go out the hack door.
Dora Millicent Eyre, 14 years, pave evidence of a corroborative nature, and Joseph Bel! (farm hand) testified to nnvinsr worked with uc-cused at Granville's.

At this stnee the hearing was adiourned till Wednesday morning, Mr. Hunt remarking in reply to a Question on the point by the magistrate that the case for the Crown would be that day.
