SUPPORT FOR MINERS
FROM SCOTCH H.AH.WAYMEN. (Received 2.30 p.m.l LONDON, October 17. The Council of Scottish Railwaymea passed a resolution expressing -willingness to eea.se work immediately to support the minors. Mr. R. Rmillie. addressing a mass meeting of miners, said that this light was the most serious in England's history. The Government would use all it 3 forces to beat the miners, whose success dej pended on their own courage and loyalty. j (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
