PRODUCTION AND VALUES.
SYDNEY, this day. Mr. Daniel Hawkins (statistical officer of the Board of Trade), at the Forty-four Hour inquiry, stated that the average production in New South Wales for the ftvn years from 1000 to 1913 was £66,000,000. In 1914-1019 it was £58,000,000, based on the same standard of value, but production in 1919 totalled £98,000,000, showing a decrease in the purchasing power of the sovereign.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.) ,
