CUBA'S FINANCE.
HELP FROM AMERICA. (Received 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 15. New York bankers shipped ten million dollars to Cuba in the last three, days to eaee the troubled situation there. In response to an appeal from the Cuban President for financial help, a conference will be held in Washington to-day. It is rumoured that a syndicate of banks and sugar interests to are to form a pool to secure raw sugar at 7 cents a pound.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
