GOLD EXPORT AND EXCHANGE.
(Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 15. The Council of the London Chamber of Commerce cabled to the Associated Chambers of Commerce in Melbourne, asking them to urge that the Commonwealth should permit the exportation of gold in order to improve the exchange position in London. —(A. and N.Z.)
