MELBOURNE., this day. In the House of Representatives, Mr. F. G. Tudor moved an amendment on behalf of Mr. J. T. Ryan, who is campaijrning in Queensland, that the Judiciary Bill be withdrawn, and that there be "substituted tlierefor a bill giving power to the High Court to compel manufacturers and others to give the cost of production, manufacture, and shipping, and to show what profit is made on the capital invested, the bill also t& provide penalties for false information or refusal to supply information. Mr, Tudor added that company operations in the past throe years showed the necessity for etich legislation. Of £110,000,000 share capital, £8-2,000.000 was the actual capital.— (A. and N.Z. Cable).
