QUEENSLAND ELECTIONS.
A DIVIDED OPPOSITIONS (Received 1.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, this day. Various cross currents in connection with the general election to-day have ; made the position complicated. It is ! anticipated that the Government will i retain a majority, though it is likely to lose several seats. The anti-Labour forces are divided into two parties, and this may he to the benefit of the Labour candidates. — (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
