RELIEVING THE GARRISONS. LONDON, October 8. A War Office communique states that our relief column moving on Samawa, on the Lower Euphrates, reached Darraji station, 28 miles from the town. Reconnoitring aeroplanes observed "all well" signals from the garrison besieged at Kufa, on the Euphrates, between Samawa and Hillap, but Arabs are destroying the Kufa-Nejef railway line.
