Meredit.li. for accused, contended that, apart altogether from the repute of the house, the charge must fail, as Hassitt could prove that he did not reside in the place at all, and being found in a house, even if it \ver.e of tlie character alleg-ed. was not an otlVnee provided the accused was in no way connected with the management of the place. He called evidence to prove that Hassitt was in regular employment and regularly boarding at a private house in Onehunga.
