EXPLOSION ON A TANKER.
FIFTEEN LIVES LOBT. VESSEL BADLY DAMAGED. (Received 11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 7. An explosion occurred to-day on A Canadian oil tank vessel. The force of the explosion was terrific, and it wrecked the forepart of the ship above the waterline, partially destroying the crew's quarters. It is believed that 15 of the crew were killed.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
