The S.S. nnd A. Co.'s new liner Tataroa arrived, at Melbourne on October 5 from •New York, via Panama 'Canal and Cook Strait. After discharge in Australia the Tniaroa wUI oonie to New Zealand to load. The Northern Company's steamer Rlmu arrived at Auckland this mornlns from Onehunga. where she has been running between thnt port and New Plymouth. She is to underso annual inspection, after which she will return to the Onehunga-New Plymouth trade. The Wiltshire, which is loading in New Zealand for the New Zealand Shipping Company, Is expected to sail from Wellington for the United Kingdom about October li(i. Passages are being booked by this vessel, nnd the company announces that there is accommodation for about 100 persons. The Northern Company's steamers Ilnrawa and Anpourl. which left Onehunga yesterday for New Plymouth and Hoklanga respectively, were compelled to anchor this side of the Manukau Heads all night, as the. bar was impassable woing to heavy sale. The Rarawa crossed the Bar at 5.30 this morning. The Aupourl is expected to cross this afternoon. COiLLDER MOWEMBSNaS. The Katoa. which left Newcastle on Wednesday, is due at Auckland on iMonday. S-lie brings 3300 tons of coal. The Karma will not leave Weetport for Auckland until early next week. The .Taa pnese colliers Ilaruna-San-Maru and the Meikai Maru are at Newcastle loading about 4000 tons of coal each for Auckland. The latter vessel is expected to leave Newcastle within a short time. The Union Company have received advice that the Maheno left Sydney on Wednesday afternoon with 247 saloon and 14!) secondclass passengers. She is due to arrive here on Monday morning.
