Ifll9. was 959. an increase of 82 on the previous .rear. -Acknowledgments were made of donations of £23 each from the ladles who organised the streets collection In celebration of peace, and tie •commercial travellers of Auckland, which came to band since the end of the financial year. Also from the latter a cart-load of second-hand clothingAfter acknowledging the good work accomplished by fhe Solvation .Army and the St. Vincent de Pnul Society in rec?!vinjr men, the report concluded with a plea for a home for helpless, men, wlio and again are sent to prison through lack of euch an Institution. The report was adopted. - The balance sheet for the .year ending! June 30, stowing a credit balance of £BS, 8/11, was also adopted. . I
