TRACK CLEAR AGAIN.
EXPRESSES ARRIVE. NORMAL SERVICE RUNNING. The inconvenience that was attached to travel on the Main Trunk railway service for a couple of di\7s through the running time of several of the expresses being interfered with as a result o; slips and a washout ended on Saturday about noon, when the tracks affected were again restored to their former condition. Both the Auckland bound ex-pi<-sse_ that were held up were able to continue ou their journey on Saturday, and arrived- here yesterday- morning, following close on each other. The belated first express that left "Wellington on Thursday night at 850 arrived at 6.20 a.m., whilst the other which steamed out of the Southern city at mid-day on Friday, arrived about / o'clock. The last of the Auckland-bound expresses that arrived here yesterday was connected with at Frankton Junction yesterday by two specials for Rotorua and Paeroa respectively.
