DOCKER'S BAD GUESS.
"MUNITIONS" FOR THE POMS. LONDON, September 7. A comedy of errors occurred at Bootlc owing to the dockers mistaking disinfectants for munitions. They refused 1.0 load fumigating machines marked O.H.M.S. and labelled Danzig, and »" consequence a ship was held up. When Bootle proudly informed the Labour Council of Action what it had done the council telegraphed an instruction to remove tin. embargo, eaying that the fumigating machines were only intended to destroy vermin and prevent typhoid.
