Sir, —I would like to call attention to the fact that wherea* eVery other trade j in Auckland haii it-3 union, milliners seem r to be completely at the mercy of their j employers, who seem to pay what they a choose. A girl with over two years' 5 experience may receive only 14/ per j. week, and be capable of turning out hats sold at two and three guineas each.
