FURTHER ADJOURNMENT NECESSARY, t The Pukekawa mc-rder mystery continues to exert the best efforts of the police search party investigating ,the crime, but no far no arrest has been made. Yesterday they were many miles from the scene of the murder prosecuting inquiries. , I The adjourned inquest into the circumI stances of the murder of the victim, I Sydney S. Eyre, was to Jiave been held at the Pukeikohe Police Court to-morrow, but the police intend to make application for a further adjournment sine die. This it is understood will be granted. At the Pukekawa proceedings evidence of identification was given by the widow of the deceased. The procee-1 .ngs were short, the coroner, ilr. R. F. Webster. 1 granting the police an adjournment to Pukekohe.
