Godfrey, of Norfolk Island, is returning tt> Now Zealand by the mission schooner Southern Cross, due in Auckland shortly. At the New Lynn Railway Station a number of residents gathered to bid farewell to Mr. Oscar Dcarsly, who has been tablet porter for some time, and is now being transferred on promotion. Mr. P. Neville presented Mr. Deaislcy with a case of pipes as a memento of the esteem in which he was held, both Uγ tlio residents of the district and by his workmates.
