PRICE OF MILK.
A deputation from the Auckland Milk Vendors' Association waited on the Board of Trade this morning in regard to the prices that may be charged for milk by retailors. Under the new arrangement with the suppliers the vendors have to pay 1/4 a gallon in summer and 1/S in winter. In the past it has been customary to. simply double the wholesale fisures to get at the retail price, but it is probable that the Board of Trade will require the production of documentary evidence before it comes to a decision. The Board's finding will be announced later.
