BAPTIST TABERNACLE SERVICES.

I The Rev. J. W. Kemp, who arrived last week by the Niagara, preached his opening sermon on Sunday at the Baptist Tabernacle to a large congregation. Suitable anthems were rendered both morning and evening. The building looked its best owing to the recent interior renovations, the walls having been tinted in a delicate biscuit colour, and the moulding picked out in a soft amber. Mr. Kemp met the members of the church and congregation at a social gathering last evening, and in an interesting speech outlined the work of the future. To-morrow, -Wednesday evening, he will give the introductory address in connection with his "Back to the Bible" | studies. •
