'! LOCO. MEN DISSATISFIED. MEETING OF DELEGATES. j WELLINGTON. Monday, j : Delegates from branches of the Loco-1 motive, Engineers, Firemen and Cleaners' Association met in Wellington to-day to consider various matters, the most important being a draft agreement prepared by a committee appointed by the' Government after tho recent strike. The j other branches of the railway service' (the Amalgamated Society of Railway I Servants and the Railway "Officers' Insti- : tute) have accepted the recommendations made in their c.iscs. but the E.F.C.A. has not yet accepted, and some! of the branches are known to be opposed I to acceptance on the ground that the agreement does not concede some of i their demands. The conference, which ' represents locomotive men throughout! New Zealand, will decide whether or not tne agreement shall be accepted. The I delegates did not complete their , deliberations today.
