DWELLING AND AUCTION MART .URNITTTRE DAMAGED. A tire which broke out last evening in the rooms at the back of Messrs. Wickins and SutelifTc's furniture mart in Upper Symonds Street did about £-*oo to £500 damage. The occupants of the dwelling portion of the premises (Mr. and Mrs. Thompson) were out at the time, and it is not known how the tire started.
