M. Hughes and Air. T. J. Ryan (Labour leader). The- proceedings at times were very lively. Mr. Ilyan demanded that an idea should be given of the contents of the hill. This -Mr. Hughes refused, and he told Mr. Ryan to wait until the measure was introduced. He accused Mr. Ryan of attending the House only in his spare time, and o? not doing enough to earn his I'arliamentary salary.
