Every Jew felt a deep Ben.se of gratitude to Great Britain, which had so consistently shown its sympathy for Zionism and ultimately made it one of her declared war aims. The meeting atnid enthusiasm j passed a resolution expressing profound I gratitude to Great Britain for i:.> recognition of Palestine as a Jewteh national home. , The Hon. A. M. Myers, M.P.. was r~-electel honorary president and Rev. S. A. Goldstein president for the ensuing year.
