MOTORCAR TRANSACTION.
Mr. .T. W. Poynton, S.M.. had before 'him at the Magistrate's Court to-day another dispute regarding the sale of a motor car. William M. Russell (Mr. R. Matthews) sued James Wallace Irvine j (Mr. P. J. Scantlebury) for £35. alleged to be due as part purchase of a motor, also for £11 4/ interest at 8 per cent up to date. The evidence showed that plaintiff sold defendant a motor car for £40 on time payment. Defendant alleged that it was agreed that damaged or missing parts were to be supplied by plaintiff. A wae therefore entered for £40, alleged to have been expended on repairs, and to supply miHsing parts. Tho cum of £lo was also I claimed for loss of use- of the' car. Mr. J Poynton gave judgment for tho plaintiff ! for £4(J 4/ with costs, and also found for 1 plaintiff on the counter-claim. *
