OBITUARY.

VS?TERAN : OF CRIMEAN WAR.

An old m&n-of-w&reman, Mr. E. X Webb, -rt-iio recently died at Bulls, aged 86 years, eerved in the China "war at the taking of the Taku Forts, and took part in the march to Peking. Hβ was also with the Navy during -the war witu Russia. In later life he came to New Zealand and settled in. the Rangitikei district. Deceased wae a prominent member of the Masonic fraternity and the Oddfellows' Order. He is survived by one daughter and four sons. Mr. H. Webb, of Atrakmo, ia a eon of deceased.
