PEACE RESOLUTION.
CONGRESSIONAL ADOPTION. PRESIDENT'S VETO CERTAIN. WASHINGTON, May 23. The House of Representatives adopted the Senate's peace resolution. The measure has been sent to Mr. Wilson. Tt is considered certain that he wjll veto the resolution, and it is not belieted that Congress will be able to secure the two-thirds majority necessary for its adoption over the President's .veto.—(A. and N.Z.
