BOOM TIME IN IRELAND.
GREAT INCREASE IN EXPORTS.
(Received 10 a.m.)
LONDON, May 23.
Ireland's increase in exports is remarkable, tnough a proportion of it is due to the rise in prices. The total exports during 1919 were valued at £64,000,000 compared with £24,000,000 in 1908. Poultry, eggs, and feathers increased from '£3,500,000 to £18,500,000. The bank deposits standard has also increased. An extraordinary demand prevails for all classes of goods, including luxuries. Motor cars are replacing donkey carts all over the country.— ("Timei")
