TERMINATING BUILDING SOCIETY.
A SUCCESSFUL YEAR.
The Auckland Co-operative Terminat- [ ing Building Society has had a prosper- | ous year, and its 23rd annual report, 1 which will be presented to the annual < meeting on Friday next, states that the < profit earned during the year was > £9107 17/10, making the total profits ' £132,130 18/7, after deducting £4446 0/5, 1 the profits drawn during the "year. The- ] society's ' income for the year was - £103,964 6/3, an increase of £12,931 9/10 ' over last' year. The demand for loans ] was very keen, and appropriations for ' these totalled £115,400, an increase of £11,600 compared with the past year. The total advances made and authorised during the life of the society amount to £1,399,295, and the repayments to - £845,018 10/, leaving a balance owing of £554,276 10/, for which there is ample margin of value in tUe shape of'first class Kcurities, -j,
