All the big things for women are not always found in America. A recent issue of the "Daily Mail" contains an advertisement for a "Lady Editor"; salary a thousand pounds per annum. The paper states that applicants must apply in person; testimonials will not be accepted no that any ambitious New Zealander who wishes to better her position in the world of letters will first have to reach Loudon. The paragraph is of interest in showing that in the i centre of ahe Empire woman is really , coming into her own at last.
