London on May 1The Northumberland, which left Wellington on March 13, arrived at Liverpool on April 22. The Raranga, from Liverpool, via Ami, trallan ports, will be due in New Zealand for loading at the end of June. The Argyllshire, which left 'Liverpool in April for Australia, has been fixed to load in New Zealand for the United Kingdom. "The. Kittawa is lending for Wellington, and proceeds there to-morrow, via Wbangarei. The Kiirow left Tlmaru at 5 o'clock last night for Auckland direct, making her due here on Monday. No wireless has yet been received from tbe Whangape. en route from Makatea Island. _.he should arrive early next week. The Kittawa 1_ expected to be dispatched to Whangarel to-morrow, while the Kaltangata is up for Newcastle to-night. The British India Steam Navigation Company's steamer _ofala, left Calcutta on "Sunday for Singapore, Java, Newcastle and Auckland.* The Kamona was to leave Wellington yesterday afternoon for W—tport, there, to load coal for Auckland. She will not react) here until Tuesday. The departure of the Maheno bag been postponed until 8 o'clock to-night. She Is. not likely to get away until a couple of hours later. The Omana is still discharging coal at the Central wharf, but should finish up by Monday. She will then -commence loading her timber cargo for Australia. The Fort Nicholson arrived last night and berthed at the Central wharf. An effort 'is being made to dispatch her on Tuesday morning. She sa!l# finally from Wellington about the 15th. The Union Company's Waihemo, which left Wellington on Wednesday morning. Is dne here at 4 o'clock this afternoon. She will anchor in the stream and berth tomorrow morning at the Queen's wahrf. She Mils nest week for San Francisco. WIEBTMEATH PRO— HOME. The liner Westmeath, for which A. H. Nathan are agents, left Liverpool on April 2, for Auckland and the main ports. She should reach this port about June 5. BOSTON AND NEW YIOKK. Messrs. A. H. Nathan advise that the Somerset, due at Auckland on May 23, has available space for cargo for New York and Boston. The vessel proceeds to Wellington,. Dnnedtn, and Australia from here, This boat will be followed by the Durham, due here In June. , OBABI DELAYED. The New Zealand shipping Company have received -wireless Information from the Orari, en route from. Melbourne with Wheat, that she will not arrive until Sunday ■morning. The Orari left Melbourne last Saturday and tats encountered heavy weather.
EAST COAST SERVICE. The Mapourlka arrived at Tokoraarn Bay .at 3.30 this' morning. . She 'Is scheduled to leave Napier for Giaborne and Auckland on Saturday night, making her due here on -Monday afternoon. The -Mokoia is scheduled to sail for Napier, Wellington, and South Island tomorrow evening. ' . ' The Monowal sailed from Wellington for Napier, Glsborne, and Auckland at 6.10 last night. She will arrive here on SunJay. THE! CANADIAN STEAMERS. Tl)e Canadian , Government's steamer Canadian Importer commenced to load her Wellington cargo for Vancouver yesterday. The vessel will sail on Monday .or Auckland to complete her loading, being dne here on Wednesday. Her departure for Van-, conrer has been flxed for May 20. The Canadian Exporter will go to Wellington before coming north, and is due at this port on June 20.
