The Government had; decided that both must be sold at a price to cover the cost of production, and the standard profits allowed by the Emergency Act. Therefore, the maximum prices of industrial coal- and household coal would be increased by 4/2 and 14/2 a ton respectively, from May 12.—(£. A.)
