The following resolutions were passed at a mass meeting of railwaymen held at the workshops last evening:—(1) TWs meeting of representative railwaynien strongly urges upon the Government to deal with the cost of living and effectually with, exploiters, thereby keeping prices down to the miniinuni; failing this, aD workers are urged to press f° r automatic increases of -wages. (2) Thi* meeting of raihvayinen notices with.pleasmre the Board of Trade notice in the daily papers restricting prices while *&* strike is on, showing clearly that v prices can be controlled during a etriket why not during times of peace?
