Government regarding a method of securing finality on the questions at issue. I The following resolutions were passed by the local brunch >>f tlie Xpw Zealand .Railway Officers" Institute:—"That this meeting of members of the Wellington branch of the Railway Officers' Institute affirms that it. has absolutely no confidence in the present management's statf administration, and we c-u.ll upon the Government to take steps whereby a more up-to-date staff shall he ensured, which, while protecting the interests of the Dominion, shall also advance and ensure the individual rights of the rail- . way employees. Further, we are strongly 1 of opinion that had this : T>een done in I the past the present strike would not I have eventuated." ■ . AUCKLAXD BRANCH BALLOT.
