MR. W. A. HARVEY. The death occurred, in the small hours of this morning, of Mr. W. A. Harvey,] of tbe firm of Jagger and Harvey, ship-.' chandlers, Auckland, at tbe age of 74. Mr. Harvey arrived in the sailing shipj Hyd'aspe in the year IST'2, -and. was later in 'the Queen Bee and other "old timers." i Mr. Harvey entered into the shipchandlery business some forty years ago/ during which time he always was highly respected, in his business and marine capacities. The deceased was 66 I years of age. His heart was known-to j have been failing for some time. ! CAPTAIN* A. F. HARDY. I The death occurred at Gisborne yester- ' day of Captain A. F. Hardy aged 80 years. Tbe deceased was a grandson of Sir Thomas Hardy, of Trafalgar, one ot Nelson's captains- He had been a resident of that district for fifty years and i'aw service in the Maori War.
