At North Shore tbe eheraie team disposed of University in very short order for 89 runs, and occupied the rest of the afternoon in making 234 runs, wtlch gives them a com-mandin-r first innings lead. PARNELL V. PONSONBY. On the hockey grerond, Remuera, Parnell won the toss against Ponsonby, and batted all the afterne>on, making the unexpected total of 358 for five wickets. The honours of. the day rested principally with M. J. Moore, who e-ewnpiled 120 not out.
