It is stated that at Kaiwarra (Wellington) the Government is erecting houses for its employees on the slopes of the hill, and only providing a 14ft roadway. This is objected to by the Central Progress League, which body considers such a condition of affairs would lead to the creation of a slum area—a thing which the Government should surely be the last to countenance.
It is apparent that where one in a family is attacked with influenza, it frequently spreads to the rest of the family. Tlie free use of "Nazol" day and night would prevent the infection. (Ad.)
