WEDDINGS.
A pretty wedding took place at St. George's Church, Mt. Eden, when Miss Evelyn Middleton, youngest daughter of the, late Mr. Kichard Middleton and Mrs. Middleton, of "Blinkbonny," Papakura Valley, was married to Mr. F. VV. C. Bagnall, of Tokomaru Bay, the third son of Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Bagnall, of Heme Bay. The bride, who looked very sweet, wore a white silk frock with georgette overdress with the bodice trimmed with silver embroidery and a square court train of pale pink, and car-
ried a bouquet of pale gink carnations. With this was worn a long silk embroidered veil, a family heirloom. The bridesmaids were Miss Campbell, in pale pink crepe de chine and black half trimmed with pale pink flowers, and Miss G. Lysnar in buttercup yellow crepe de chine, with hat to match. Two little girls, Doris Lysnar and Kathleen Kay, acted as train bearers, wearing white silk with buttercup and pale pink trimming respectively. Mr. Eric Brook was best man, and the Rev. Johnson performed the ceremony. Afterwards a reception to relatives only was held at the home of Mrs. Lysnar, "Inglenook," Mount Eden. Mrs. Lysnar, to receive her guests, wore peacock blue eoliennc silk with net sleeves and trimming of passementerie. Amongst those present were Mrs. Cashel, aunt of the bride, in black silk; Mr. and Mrs. C. Middlcton, Mr. and Mrs. A. White, Mrs. Bodle, Mr. and Mrs. Orakau Kay, Mr. and Mrs. IL X. Bagnall, Miss Bagnall, Mrs. Weetnian, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Bagnall, Mr. and Mrs. Jones, Forbes, Mrs. Bayly, Mrs. (Archdeacon) Hawkins, Miss Brewer, Mrs. Creagh, Mrs. Payne, Mrß. Jackson, Mrs. H. Cashel, Mrs. R. McCullum, and other relatives.
A quiet wedding was solemnised at the Greenlane Congregational Church on January 26, when Mr. Matthew John Barrett, second son of Mr. E. N. Barrett, of Upper Edmonton, London, was married to -Miss Doris Elrick Lees second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. M* Kerr, of 67, Clonbern Road, Remuera! The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. A. Bridger. The bride, who was given away by Mr. Kerr, wore a pretty frock of ivory crepe de chine and shadow lace, also the orthodox veil and orange blossoms.
