. • STAFF CHANGES. I The ranks of the Salvation officers in Auckland are to be changed considerably as from Sunday next. Commandant Middlemass, now at Palmerston Xorth, is to take command of the Auckland City Corps, in place of Adjutant N. Smith. j and Ensign F. Birks. Adjutant Smith is !to be transferred to the Women's Traini ing College, Wellington, and Ensign 1 Birks is going on furlough. Comma.ndant A. Rowlands will take charge of the work in Xewtnn: Adjutant A. Wheeler and Ensign M. Marshall in Onehunga; Adjutant J. Hultquiet in Eden; Captain W. Hewson in Xewmarket, and Ensign B. Mehrtens in Devonport.
