MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

Three Ministers were in town on Saturday. The Prime Minister paid a| short visit to the Commercial Travellers' Club on Saturday morning, accompanied by Sir William Herries and Hon. J. G. Coates, Postmaster-General. Important club matters were discussed. Mr. Massey was present at the Canter-bury-Auckland cricket match on Saturday afternoon, and left for Wellington by the Main. Trunk express the same evening. Hon. J. G. Coates also went South by this express, and expects to return to Auckland in a fortnight. Sir William Herries, Minister of Marine and Native Affairs, was present in the Ministerial rooms at the Post Office on Saturday morning to attend to Departmental business. He will retur* to Wellington by the Main Trunk er I press to-morrow evening.
