MILNER'S COMMISSION.

CAIRO, December 14.

The presence of fully equipped soldiers patrolling the streets was the first indication that Lord Milner had arrived. Although the city is apparently quiet, it is recognised that the next few days will be very critical. There is much underground resentment against Lord Milner's Commission.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
