AMERICA'S NEW SHIPS.
SHIPPING BOARD'S RECORD,

WASHINGTON, December 14.
It is announced that the construction division of the Shipping Board will have delivered six millions tons of shipping by the end of 1919. It recommends the construction of seventy cargo liners. totalling 860,000 dead weight tons. It is against tbe building of large passenger steamers. —(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
