Tbe noted lady temperance worker and president cf the Women's Christian Temperance Union of England has written an article for the "Weekly Dispatch" of London in August last, in the course of which she says:— '"If prohibition came in it would merely become a question of evading tee law. and for the people to form that habit would be a. bad thing for the country. This campaign for Prohibition "is not dealing honestly with one of the most solemn questions affecting the whole future o f our national life, because everyone who looks seriously at the present position knows prohibition! is impossible."
