EXPRESS DELAYED.
ENGINE LEAVES THE RAILS. Just before reaching Hunterville last night the Main Trunk express had a mishap, the engine going off the rails when turning - a corner. It travelled about 150 yards before it was pulled up just outside Hunterville station. An engine had to be brought from Taihape to take the place of the derailed locomotive. This involved a delay of a little over an hour, which was partly made tip by the time the express reached Frankton.
