GOLDMINING REVIVAL.
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. . A revival of interest in mining affairs iB very noticeable. At least two new ' companies, with capital fully subscribed, will commence operations in the Thames area immediately after the holidays. Quite a number of claims are being taken up, and woric at the Warden's Court is steadily increasing. Among recent applications was that of a Wanganui man for Old Alburnia.
