ANGLO-PERSIAN TREATY.
MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS. (Received 11.35 a.m.) . NEW YORK, November 26. The "New York Times" Washington correspondent stated that the Britsh I Government has indicated to the United States Government its willingness to modify the Anglo-Persian Treaty, against] which America objected. There is reason * to believe that Britain will allow modifications that affect only Persian-Ameri-can relations. It is understood that Britain will permit Persia to select a portion of Governmental advisers from the Unite-J States and permit the United States to participate in the loan to Persia. It is not expected that Britain will allow modification of the j military terms of the Treaty.—-(A. and j N.Z. Cable.)
