HOUSING SOLDIER PATIENTS. SHELTERS AT THE ANNEXE. A recent development in the treatment of soldiers suffering from tuberculosis has been tie construction of a numoer of shelters in proximity to the Annexe at tbe Domain. These buildings are to be used in the accommodation of those men who are suffering from the disease in the more advanced stages, and their use is confined more or less to the mea of the Auckland district. By confining accommodation at the rwelve shelters now Hearing completion, to men whose relations reside in the Auckland district, the latter contingency will be given effect to, and it is considered that this practice will he put into operation at the various hospitals throughout the Dominion. Every consideration had been given in the construction of the shelters to ameliorate the sufferings of the afflicted. They will be comfortably fitted, and every -facility possible provided for the comfort of the inmates.
